Overwhelmed with all the nib choices? I put together some of my personal favorites in this sampler set. These nibs range from firm-medium/high flex and is popular among beginners as well as seasoned calligraphers.

Well, as of today the only thing I use daily is the mat . The table I have has a texture on it and not great to write on. Although I used several sheets behind the one I write on it still was not great. The mat makes a huge difference. It’s wider and longer and it’s just nicer. I am playing with dipping pens. I’m not good by any means in writing . I’m waiting to take your class of Spencerian penmanship this fall. My purchase of your nibs is anticipating the class. On your suggestion I purchased the oblique holder from John Neal’s store. I also ordered the other nibs you suggested from Amazon. I haven’t broken out the nibs for you yet but playing with the others. Hopefully you will go over dip pens in your class. I mostly use a mechanical pencil. Thank you so much for all you do.
