Historically, it has been recommended to use a bit of cushion underneath your paper for an optimal writing experience. Over the years, I've been on a hunt to find a writing mat that won’t stain from ink spillage, but still have the same cushiony feel as genuine leather.
After testing a variety of materials and using this myself for the past month, I'm so excited to offer these beautiful, high quality vegan leather mats that you can use for your everyday use. Each mat will come with an adjustable clasp and a linen bag for travel and protection purposes.

I loved that my mat came in a lovely box, packaged so nicely in its own little bag. It is lightweight and the perfect surface that’s both pretty and practical. It doesn’t leave my desk because having it makes such a difference in my calligraphy! Thank you Younghae for making such a beautiful product for calligraphers! I can’t wait for the black vegan one to come out.
